Compressed-air Tanks Offer Remote User Convenience
U.S.-based Power Tank offers portable air systems for workers who
need compressed air in remote locations to power air tools. The
2011 Power Tank series features a new SuperFlow HP250 regulator, four tank sizes and new tank colors. The SuperFlow HP250 regulator features a flow rate of 45 cfm (1.2 m3/min) with maximum
outlet pressure of 250 psi (17 bar). This regulator, according to the
manufacturer, supplies ample flow and pressure to fill large off-road
tires and run air tools such as impact wrenches or grinders. The
new Smart Gauge design has suggested air pressure markings for
quickly adjusting air flow to the task at hand. The HP250 features
billet aluminum construction with an easy-grip billet aluminum
control knob. Tanks are available in four sizes—5, 10, 15 and 20
lb—and each comes with 25 ft (7.5 m) of high-pressure braided
coil hose. A tank boot, mounting bracket, Super Coupler, and tire
inflators are available in popular packages, and an optional X-Flo
coupler provides higher flow for improved air tool operation.
