Diesel Emissions Control in an Integrated Package
AirFlow Catalyst Systems has developed
what it describes as an innovative diesel
emissions control system called EZCat that
removes CO, HC, as well as diesel particulates
in one combined unit, eliminating
expensive controls, requiring less space
and minimizing downtime. The EZCat system
includes a proprietary NO2 management
system combined with a low temperature,
passively regenerating wash coat.
Main features include lower space requirements,
minimal NO2 slip, NOx reduction,
continuously low back pressure, durability
as a result of passive regeneration, and
elimination of paper filters.
