Turkish manufacturer Yilmaz Reduktor is
offering a new range of “power dense”
worm gearboxes. Manufactured to ISO
9001 standard, the units offer output
torque up to 2,600 Nm from a very small
envelope, using a one-piece monoblock
housing and optimized worm gear pair.
The gear pair combines a hardened and
ground cylindrical worm and a phosphorus
bronze worm wheel to provide maximum
strength with efficiency ranging
from 76% to 92% depending on size. The
TUV certified gearboxes provide OEMs
with a well-engineered and price competitive
option, says U.K. distributor Richard
Alan Group. Yilmaz has been manufacturing
gearboxes since 1963 and has a modern
production plant in Istanbul, plus
operations in Europe, the Middle East,
Africa and the United States.
